TNT Incremental Runes Guide
Every rune type explained鈥攚hat they do, how to roll them, and when to level versus reroll.
Runes are the precision tool in TNT Incremental's incremental toolkit. Cash upgrades raise stats broadly; runes let you fix specific bottlenecks鈥攖oo little income, upgrades too expensive, rebirth too far away, rolls too slow鈥攂y spending Tickets on targeted pulls. Understanding rune families before rolling separates efficient accounts from those that burn entire code reward stashes on random stats.
For roll strategy, read how to roll runes. For priority rankings, see the runes tier list. For Ticket sources, check how to get diamonds and tickets and currencies explained.
Rune Type Reference
The table groups rune families by role. In-game names may vary slightly by patch; treat effects as categories rather than memorizing every label.
| Category | Rune Family | Effect Summary |
|---|---|---|
| Core | Cash Income Runes | Increase cash earned per detonation or over time. |
| Core | Upgrade Cost Runes | Reduce prices on multiplier and key stat upgrades. |
| Roll | Rune Luck Runes | Improve odds during Ticket roll sessions. |
| Roll | Rune Speed Runes | Increase rolls per session when Tickets are plentiful. |
| Reset | Rebirth Runes | Lower rebirth thresholds or boost rebirth-related stats. |
| Early | Blast Power Runes | Break blocks faster during the first island. |
How Rune Rolling Works
Open the rune interface and spend Tickets per roll. Each pull returns a rune with a stat bonus and rarity tier. Higher rarity generally means stronger bonuses but lower odds鈥擱une Luck potions and luck runes shift those odds during sessions. Rune Speed increases how many rolls fit in a timed session when you hoard Tickets.
Before rolling, define a target from the runes ranking. Activate a potion from the potions tier list. Stop when you obtain a useful pull or exhaust your budget鈥攃hasing perfect legendaries early bankrupts Ticket income needed for mid-game islands in the islands walkthrough.
Leveling vs Rerolling
Duplicate runes or dedicated leveling currency鈥攄epending on current patch mechanics鈥攔aise existing rune power. Level when the rune matches your wall and leveling cost beats expected Ticket spend on new rolls. Reroll when your pull is B-tier or lower for your stage, or when rebirth and ascension shift priorities toward reset-focused stats covered in the ascension walkthrough.
Runes and Other Systems
Upgrade synergy upgrades amplify rune value鈥攊nvest in them before massive roll sessions per the upgrade tier list. Rebirth may affect which runes matter most; rebirth acceleration runes spike before resets recommended by the rebirth guide. Tree Crystals do not replace runes鈥攖hey solve different timescales (permanent tree vs rollable stats).
Common Rune Mistakes
Rolling without potions wastes code-granted boosters from the codes page. Rolling before a cash loop exists fixes symptoms upgrades would solve cheaper. Hoarding Tickets forever misses windows where income runes would have doubled rebirth speed. Keeping blast power runes deep into mid-game clogs slots better filled by cost reduction or cash families.
